Chris is Head of M&A in Europe. Chris has substantial experience advising clients on a diverse range of M&A and equity transactions in both public and private markets across the business services sector. Prior to joining Canaccord Genuity, Chris worked at Lloyds Merchant Bank and Deloittes.

Miles leads our European Industrials sector and has extensive experience advising public and private clients on cross-border M&A and capital raisings. Prior to Canaccord Genuity, Miles worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Alastair Rogers heads Canaccord Genuity’s Sustainability investment banking practice in Europe. Prior to Canaccord Genuity, he worked at UBS and Hawkpoint. Alastair has significant experience across the energy & resource efficiency and renewables sectors. Over the last 16 years, he has advised on numerous M&A and capital raising transactions in both the private and public markets.

Ross has significant experience advising corporate and private equity clients in relation to mergers & acquisitions and equity raisings with a focus on the Sustainability sector. Prior to Canaccord Genuity, Ross worked at ABN AMRO/RBS in the UK and New Zealand/Australia.

Chris brings a broad range of experience advising companies across various sectors and transaction types and he has completed over 30 equity transactions, raising over $2 billion, including 15 IPOs. Previously, Chris worked at Espirito Santo Investment Bank and PwC.

Ben has substantial M&A advisory and equity / debt financing experience in the UK and Europe, with a particular focus on the Services sector. Prior to joining Canaccord Genuity, Ben worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Prior to joining Canaccord Genuity, Aynsley was at Citigroup where he was a Research Analyst covering the European Building Materials and Construction sector since 2000, having previously joined the Schroders Research department in 1998. Prior to this Aynsley spent three years at Deloitte as a Trainee Chartered Accountant. Aynsley has a BSc Economics degree from the London School of Economics, University of London and an MPhil in Economics from King’s College, University of Cambridge. He is also ACA qualified and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Matthew joined Canaccord Genuity in May 2014 to cover Support Services having previously spent four years in equity research covering the UK technology sector with First Columbus LLP. Matthew holds a BSc degree in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics.

Gert Zonneveld joined Canaccord Genuity in June 2016 from Panmure Gordon, where he was co-Head of Research and covered a range of industrial transport and travel and leisure stocks for 19 years. Prior to this, Gert worked as an analyst at Schroder Securities and Swiss Bank Corporation. His sector coverage includes bus and rail, airlines, maritime and logistics. Over the past 10 years, Gert was ranked #1 in the Thomson Reuters Extel Survey (UK Transportation &Logistics) six times. He holds an Economics degree (MSc) from Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Prior to joining Canaccord Genuity, Caspar was an Investment Director at Standard Life Investments where he ran both retail and institutional UK equity funds,with a small/mid cap bias, with sole responsibility for AUM of over £600 million within direct team assets of c£3 billion. In particular he managed the UK Opportunities Fund which was a top decile performer in the IMA UK All Companies peer group and was Citywire AAA rated. Previously he managed the top-performing British Opportunities Fund at First State Investments. Prior to this he worked in equity sales/research at Merrill Lynch, Cazenove, HSBC and Numis with a leadership role in numerous equity fundraisings. Caspar is a certified EEFAS Financial Analyst, Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals and a member of CFA Institute. He has a degree in English Literature from Oxford University.

Anthony joined Canaccord Genuity as an analyst in September 2014. Anthony initiated coverage on the Aerospace & Defence sector in March 2016. Anthony has a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bath and has passed CFA Level I.
